Cheeseburger Mac
Ahh the classic Cheeseburger Mac. This recipe takes me back to my days as a kid, when we had the boxed version of Hamburger Mac and all we had to do was add the cooked ground beef. But as I got older, the taste of the boxed version became off-putting, so I stopped cooking it. That is, until one day, after I had kids, I needed something quick to make, and that required the least amount of dishes possible. Thanks to google and Pinterest, I found and tried multiple versions of the 90s staple that fit the bill. Below is the final recipe that our household loves the most, and I hope your family enjoys it too!
Kids Love It!
This recipe is SO VERSATILE! It turns out well with any type of cooked ground meat (ground beef, turkey, even ground pork!), any type of milk (I’ve used both cow’s milk and almond milk), and whole wheat or gluten free pasta!
Brown the ground beef with the onion, garlic, salt, & pepper, add the liquids, stir in Worcestershire, parsley, and pasta, and cook until the pasta is done! Super simple, super tasty. I typically serve with corn or broccoli. A fresh biscuit also pairs nicely with this dish.
