Taco Seasoning
I wanted to share our tried and true homemade taco seasoning recipe! It is so quick and easy, and so much cheaper than the store bought versions. Store bought versions often have MSG, silicon dioxide, maltodextrins, sugar, and/or natural flavors (yuck).
Honestly, the longest part of the recipe for me is hunting down all of my spices! Once I have them all set out in order (because I often forget if I’ve added one), then the measuring begins. This recipe as written will NOT fill a mason jar, you’ll have to multiply the measurements by 4 or 5 or 6 to get the jar half full. A word of caution – the amount of chili powder called for can get a bit on the spicy side, so I sometimes don’t add as much as the recipe calls for. But if you like spicy, go for it!
